Personal Experience
Megan E. Beus is a Founding Partner at Beus O’Connor McGroder PLLC, a premier boutique law firm concentrating on High Stakes Litigation, and Plaintiffs Catastrophic Injury & Wrongful Death. Ms. Beus is a member of the firm’s High Stakes Litigation and Plaintiffs Catastrophic Injury & Wrongful Death practices.
Ms. Beus represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes and Plaintiffs Catastrophic Injury & Wrong Death cases. She is an experienced trial attorney, handling both multi-million-dollar lawsuits involving commercial fraud, professional liability claims, and other complex litigation matters, as well as, intricate catastrophic litigation and wrongful death cases. Ms. Beus advocates on behalf of clients through motion practice, depositions, alternative dispute resolution, litigation, and in private negotiation. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of litigation and trial strategies. Ms. Beus represents her clients in every aspect of the contested litigation process, from pre-filing early resolution to trial.
An advocate for social justice and victims’ rights, Ms. Beus spent over 5 years as a Deputy County Attorney in the Major Crimes Special Victims – Sex Crimes Division of the Maricopa County Attorneys Office, where she litigated over 500 felony cases involving issues including child sexual crimes, sexual assault, aggravated assault, and internet crimes against children. While with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Ms. Beus developed and taught training classes for Arizona’s Board of Executive Clemency, new prosecutors, and law enforcement, while gaining special training in working with child victims.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Beus began her legal career clerking for Judge Edward Bassett.
When not practicing law, Ms. Beus spends her time with her husband and their four boys. She can be found coaching the boys’ sports teams, indulging in ice cream, taking in a car show, or reading.
